The boys cross country team shut at Marlboro 15-50 yesterday. South had their top 7 runners in before Marlboro first, and has 9 out of the top 10. Brian Miller, Pat Montalbano, Rob George, Jay Malejki and Jim Geant all crossed the line together as a pack at 18:48. John Healy finished 6th with a time of 18:55. Marlboro's top runner was Rich Roman in 7th place with a time of 19:06. Dane Couch and Conner Givens finished out the top 10, coming across together at 19:17.
The girls cross country team also defeated Marlboro by a score of 20-41. Isobel Graf led the way for the Eagles with a 21:29 time, followed by Lindsey Setaro at 21:47. Amanda Sheppard, Brittany Ryan and Ashley Horne finished 4th, 6th and 7th with times of 22:17, 22:21 and 22"25 respectively to earn the win for South.
