Monday night the Middletown South Eagles topped the Middletown North Lions 2-0 in a game under the lights on the turf at Middletown South. After having North score an own goal early in the game, Tony DiMeria extended the lead that the Eagles would not relinquish. This was Coach Reid and the Eagle's first win of the season bringing their record to 1-4-2.
The Boy's Cross Country team was defeated by perennially undefeated Christian Brothers Academy. Pat Montalbano once again lead the way for the Eagles, followed by Jay Malejki, Rob George and Brian Miller. Rounding out the Top 7 were Jim Geant, Anthony Garrido and John Healy. The boy’s next meet is the Shore Coach’s Invitational on Saturday October 7th at Holmdel Park.
