Pat Magnotta pitched a complete game to lead the Eagles of Middletown South 8-1 over Red Bank Catholic.
The Eagles jumped out to a three run lead in the bottom of the first inning, and that was all Magnotta needed. He pitched seven innings, scattering six hits and walking no one, allowing only one earned run.
Mike Guarnieri led the Eagles offensively with a 3-3 day at the plate, with two runs batted in. Jack Provine added two hits in three at bats for South.
Middletown South wins its second straight game and improves to 5-15 on the year while the Caseys fall to 11-7.
