The JV Eagles beat St. Rose 4-3 in the second round of the Junior Varsity Tournament. Ken Paterson pitched five innings and allowed only one run. Eric Hogan got out of a jam with the bases loaded, two outs and the go-ahead run on third bade with a three pitch strikeout. In the top of the seventh with two outs, Jon Altino doubled to left center field, and Mark Spoleti singled him home to give South the lead. Hogan pitched a perfect seventh to preserve the win.
