Well it seems that the sun is finally fighting through the clouds and the relentless rain from the past two weeks is stopping. The rain has played around with all the spring team's schedules because of all the postponements.
The baseball team will play take their 2-1 record to Howell this afternoon before hosting CBA tomorrow afternoon. The rescheduling has created a stretch where the Eagles will play six games in the next nine days, so the depth of their pitching will be tested.
The currently undefeated softball team will play four road games in the next week, starting with a game today at Howell and at Marlboro on Saturday. After the road trip, the Eagles will face cross-town rival North in a game that may very well decide the A-North division.
With a little over a week until the NFL Draft, ESPN.com's Todd McShay has Knowshon Moreno going to the Philadelphia Eagles at the 21st pick in the first round, much to the chagrin of Giants fans like myself. One article had Moreno as the most-complete running back in te draft.
