A nine-run sixth inning by Middletown North gave the Lions a 14-1 win over the Eagles.
Junior Ryan Rodriguez went 3-4 with three runs scored and senior Connor Delepine helped cap off the rally in the sixth with a three-run triple. Delepine finished 1-4. South pitching allowed six walks, and combined with poor defense with two errors and many missed opportunities, the Lions ran away with the game.
